When you use Fylo on WhatsApp, we collect the following information:

Your phone number (to identify your conversation)
Notice images you send us (to read and explain them)
Text messages you send us (to answer your compliance questions)
Your language preference

How We Use Your Data

To read your notice images and provide explanations
To answer your compliance questions
To send you filing reminders (only if you opt in)
To improve Fylo's responses using anonymised, aggregated patterns

Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored in India (AWS Mumbai region, ap-south-1). Your data never leaves India.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties. If you choose to connect with a CA through Fylo's marketplace, we share only the information necessary to facilitate that engagement, and only with your explicit consent.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by sending "delete my data" to Fylo on WhatsApp. We will process your deletion request within 72 hours and confirm when complete.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

Fylo uses the following third-party services to operate:

Meta WhatsApp Business API (to send and receive messages)
Anthropic Claude API (to read notices and answer questions)
AWS (to host our servers and database in India)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through WhatsApp.
